April 5th Nationwide Protests Planned by Indivisible.org and Others
Day by day, the energy has been growing. People are waking up to the threat Trump, Musk, and MAGA Republicans pose to our rights, our livelihoods, and our democracy. Dozens are showing up at Tesla dealerships weekend after weekend. Hundreds are turning out for town hall meetings with their Members of Congress. Thousands are coming together for protests at state capitols. Now, the time has come for a massive, coordinated show of defiance all across the country.

FOIA Campaign (Freedom of Information Act)
The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), established under President Donald Trump and led by Elon Musk, has targeted several federal agencies and departments for restructuring, budget cuts, and efficiency measures. There are concerted efforts by volunteer groups such as ours to file FOIA requests en masse to expose politically driven purges, illegal executive actions, or backroom deals —all of which could be used to fuel legal challenges, media exposés, and resistance efforts against the administration’s dismantling of the federal bureaucracy.

Support Businesses that Support Democracy
Advice on spending your money as much as possible with corporations and small businesses that support democracy. This 3-panel Power Point document contains links to apps and shopping lists which identify businesses and corporations that are known to support one political party or the other. This document was presented at the March 4th members meeting. The links it contains can also be found under the Activities link, from the home page.

Indivisible.Org
A grassroots movement of thousands of local Indivisible groups with a mission to elect progressive leaders, rebuild our democracy, and defeat the Trump agenda. They have a San Antonio chapter. Possibly a good connection for our group, or even a replacement for it. Requires signing up and being approved to join.
